Hey Apcbg, some stuff here doesn't make sense either. Could you point me to the original document in English? I have one specific question for you: On the third paragraph you are saying "[They] support the work of the Comission..." (Donen suport al obra... (sic)) Who's giving support? Are the "Guidelines" (directrius) giving support? If so, then this sentence should not be written in a new paragraph, otherwise the reader would get confused. Even if in the original document the subject of the sentence was omitted, I would definitely add it, or at least start that paragraph with something like "These guidelines". But, I am not sure if what you are talking about indeed are the guidelines. --Alonso 22:45, 12 jun 2006 (UTC)

Another question, you are talking about enquestes. In catalan, this means statistical survey. Are you talking about surveys or research? Enquesta topogràfica doesn't make sense. Are you still using automatic translators?--Alonso 22:49, 12 jun 2006 (UTC)

Many thanks for your kind help. That sentence is in the passive voice, not starting with the subject, because it continues with some details of the subject. In English: “The work of the Commission is supported by geographical information and mapping which result from topographic surveys in Antarctica, such as the 1995/96 survey in Livingston Island and the topographic expedition Tangra 2004/05.” The enquestes comes from poor automatic translation; should be replaced by the Catalan word for survey. Besides this version in Català, the article has also an English version Antarctic Place-names Commission, and your question reminds me to add this information too. Apcbg 09:12, 13 jun 2006 (UTC)

He afegit una explicació sobre els noms a Antàrtida i la participació de Bulgària, i també fonts on es pot obtenir més informació. La participació búlgara en Antàrtida es relaciona especialment amb la participació d'Espanya, perquè les nostres bases a l’illa Livingston són veïns. Vist per un inexpert com jo, sembla que aquesta comisió fa una gran feina en la fixació de topònims antàrtics. El dubte és si la rellevància de la comisió és només per la llengua búlgara o bé, tal com sembla, és a més una referència internacional.
