Libu
Els Libu ( 
, R'bw, Ribou, Labu Laguatan, o Lwatae) van ser una antiga tribu berber, de la qual deriva el nom de Líbia. La seva ocupació de l'antiga Líbia està testificada en textos egipcis de l'Imperi Nou, sobretot del període ramèsida. La primera menció és en una inscripció de Ramsès II.[1]
Laguatan va ser el nom que van usar els autors romans per referir-se a les tribus nòmades de Cirenaica.[2]
Han estat descrits com caçadors i nòmades,[3] però hi ha qui els considera sedentaris i caçadors.[4]
