Lagocephalus wheeleri és una espècie de peix de la família dels tetraodòntids i de l'ordre dels tetraodontiformes.

És un peix marí, de clima temperat i demersal.[4]
Distribució geogràfica[modifica]
Es troba al Japó, Taiwan i el Mar de la Xina Oriental.[6][4][7][8][9][10][11][12][13][14][15]
