Neocentropogon mesedai és una espècie de peix pertanyent a la família dels tetrarògids i a l'ordre dels escorpeniformes.[4][5]
Etimologia[modifica]
Neocentropogon deriva dels mots grecs neos (nou), κέντρον (kéntron, fibló) i pogon (barba).[6]
Hàbitat i distribució geogràfica[modifica]
És un peix marí i batidemersal (fins als 383 m de fondària),[7] el qual és un endemisme de la mar Roja[8][9][10][3]
Observacions[modifica]
És inofensiu per als humans[8] i el seu índex de vulnerabilitat és alt (62 de 100).[11]
