Neocentropogon és un gènere de peixos pertanyent a la família dels tetrarògids i a l'ordre dels escorpeniformes.[1][2]

Hàbitat i distribució geogràfica[modifica]

Es troba a la conca Indo-Pacífica[3] (la mar Roja,[4][5][6] l'Àfrica Oriental -com ara, Moçambic,[7] l'illa de la Reunió[8][9] i, probablement també, les illes Seychelles[10]-, Myanmar[11] -com ara, el golf de Martaban[7]-, el mar de la Xina Meridional,[12][13][14][15] Taiwan,[16][17][18] Malàisia,[19][20][21][22] Indonèsia,[3] el mar de Banda,[3][23] les illes Filipines,[24][25] Austràlia[3][26][27][28] -el Territori del Nord,[29] Austràlia Occidental[30] i Queensland[31][32]- i Nova Caledònia)[33][15][34] i al Pacífic nord-occidental[35] (les prefectures de Kōchi i Kagoshima[36] al Japó).[35][37][38][39][40]
