Leiopotherapon macrolepis és una espècie de peix pertanyent a la família dels terapòntids.[5]

Hom creu que, probablement, té lloc durant l'estació seca.[9][6]
Alimentació [modifica]
És omnívor[10] i la seua dieta inclou crustacis i peixets.[9][11][6]
Hàbitat [modifica]
És un peix d'aigua dolça, bentopelàgic i de clima tropical (15°S-16°S).[6]
Distribució geogràfica [modifica]
Es troba a la conca costanera septentrional de l'oest d'Austràlia: els rius Prince Regent i Roe.[6][12][13]
Observacions [modifica]
És inofensiu per als humans.[6]
