Leiopotherapon macrolepis és una espècie de peix pertanyent a la família dels terapòntids.[4]

Reproducció[modifica]
Hom creu que, probablement, té lloc durant l'estació seca.[8][5]
Alimentació[modifica]
És omnívor[9] i la seua dieta inclou crustacis i peixets.[8][10][5]
Hàbitat[modifica]
És un peix d'aigua dolça, bentopelàgic i de clima tropical (15°S-16°S).[5]
Distribució geogràfica[modifica]
Es troba a la conca costanera septentrional de l'oest d'Austràlia: els rius Prince Regent i Roe.[5][11][12]
Observacions[modifica]
És inofensiu per als humans.[5]
