Lycodes palearis és una espècie de peix de la família dels zoàrcids i de l'ordre dels perciformes.

Morfologia[modifica]

Alimentació[modifica]

Menja petits bivalves i gambes.[6]

Depredadors[modifica]

És depredat per Gadus macrocephalus,[7] l'halibut del Pacífic (Hippoglossus stenolepis), l'halibut negre (Reinhardtius hippoglossoides)[8] i la foca comuna (Phoca vitulina).[9][10]

Hàbitat[modifica]

És un peix marí i d'aigües profundes que viu entre 25-925 m de fondària.[4][11]

Distribució geogràfica[modifica]

Es troba al Pacífic nord: els Estats Units (incloent-hi Alaska), el Canadà i Rússia.[12][13][14][15][16][17][18][5][19][20][21]

Observacions[modifica]

És inofensiu per als humans.[4]
