  • Fa 22 cm de llargària màxima.[5][6]

Alimentació [modifica]

Es nodreix de crustacis a la nit.[7][8]

Hàbitat [modifica]

És un peix marí, associat als esculls de corall i de clima tropical que viu entre 3-122 m de fondària.[5]

Distribució geogràfica [modifica]

Es troba al Pacífic oriental central: les illes Hawaii.[5] [9][10]

Costums [modifica]

És bentònic i, en general, s'amaga durant el dia dins de coves o escletxes.[11]

Observacions [modifica]

És verinós per als humans.[5]
