Alimentació[modifica]

Menja crustacis.[7]

Hàbitat[modifica]

És un peix marí, demersal i de clima polar (78°N-55°N, 70°W-8°W) que viu entre 71-1.270 m de fondària (normalment, entre 200 i 600).[5][8][9]

Distribució geogràfica[modifica]

Es troba a l'Atlàntic nord: el Canadà, els Estats Units, Groenlàndia i Svalbard.[5][10][11][12][13][14][15][16][17]

Costums[modifica]

És bentònic.[5]

Observacions[modifica]

És inofensiu per als humans.[5]
