Hàbitat[modifica]
És un peix marí, demersal i de clima temperat que viu entre 59-124 m de fondària.[6]
Distribució geogràfica[modifica]
Es troba al Pacífic: les illes Hawaii i la península de Kii (el Japó).[6][8][9]
Costums[modifica]
És bentònic damunt roques i corall.[10]
Observacions[modifica]
És inofensiu per als humans.[6]
