Sebastes oblongus és una espècie de peix pertanyent a la família dels sebàstids i a l'ordre dels escorpeniformes.[4]

Descripció[modifica]

Fa 35 cm de llargària total.[5][6]

Reproducció[modifica]

És de fecundació interna[7] i vivípar.[8]

Alimentació[modifica]

El seu nivell tròfic és de 3,72.[9]

Hàbitat i distribució geogràfica[modifica]

És un peix marí, demersal i de clima temperat, el qual viu a les costes rocalloses del Pacífic[5] nord-occidental: el Japó[2][5][10][11][12][13] i Corea del Sud,[14][15][16] incloent-hi la mar del Japó.[17][5][18][3][6][19]

Observacions[modifica]

És inofensiu per als humans[6] i el seu índex de vulnerabilitat és alt (61 de 100).[20]
