Probarbus labeamajor és una espècie de peix de la família dels ciprínids i de l'ordre dels cipriniformes.
Morfologia[modifica]
- Els mascles poden assolir 150 cm de longitud total[1] i 70 kg de pes.[2]
- Nombre de vèrtebres: 40-41.[3]
Alimentació[modifica]
Menja organismes bentònics i larves d'insectes.[4]
Hàbitat[modifica]
És un peix d'aigua dolça i de clima tropical.[3]
Distribució geogràfica[modifica]
Es troba a Àsia: és una espècie de peix endèmica de la conca del riu Mekong.[3][5][6][7][8][9][10][11][12][13]
