Nezumia bairdii és una espècie de peix de la família dels macrúrids i de l'ordre dels gadiformes.[5]
Morfologia[modifica]
Alimentació[modifica]
Menja amfípodes, poliquets, eufausiacis i copèpodes.[8]
Depredadors[modifica]
És depredat pel peix espasa (Xiphias gladius).[9][10]
Hàbitat[modifica]
És un peix d'aigües subtropicals profundes que viu entre 16-1000 m de fondària (tot i que, normalment, ho fa entre 90-700 i, també, ha estat trobat a 2.295).[11][6]
Distribució geogràfica[modifica]
Es troba des de Terranova[12] (Canadà) fins a Florida (Estats Units).[6]
Longevitat[modifica]
Viu fins als 11 anys.[13]
