Physoschistura és un gènere de peixos de la família dels balitòrids i de l'ordre dels cipriniformes.[1]
Distribució geogràfica[modifica]
Es troba a les conques del llac Inle i dels rius Chindwin, Salween, Chao Phraya i Mekong a Birmània (els Estats Shan),[2][3] l'Índia,[4][5][6][7] Laos,[8] Tailàndia[9] i la Xina.[10][11][12][13][14][15][16]

Estat de conservació[modifica]
Només Physoschistura elongata, Physoschistura pseudobrunneana, Physoschistura raoi, Physoschistura rivulicola i Physoschistura shanensis apareixen a la Llista Vermella de la UICN.[26]
