Trachonurus villosus és una espècie de peix de la família dels macrúrids i de l'ordre dels gadiformes.

Alimentació[modifica]

Menja crustacis i mol·luscs.[7]

Hàbitat[modifica]

És un peix d'aigües profundes que viu entre 514-1590 m de fondària.[8]

Distribució geogràfica[modifica]

Es troba a les Illes Açores,[9] Madeira, el Marroc, el Golf de Mèxic, el Carib, des del sud del Japó[10][11] fins a les Filipines[12] i Indonèsia, Hawaii i Austràlia Meridional.[13][5]
