Lutjanus bengalensis és una espècie de peix de la família dels lutjànids i de l'ordre dels perciformes.

Alimentació[modifica]

Menja peixos i crustacis.[4]

Hàbitat[modifica]

És un peix marí de clima tropical i associat als esculls de corall que viu fins als 10-30 m de fondària.[2][5]

Distribució geogràfica[modifica]

Es troba des del Mar Roig i l'Àfrica Oriental[6] fins a Sumatra.[7][2][8][9]
