Otolithoides biauritus és una espècie de peix de la família dels esciènids i de l'ordre dels perciformes.

Morfologia[modifica]

Alimentació[modifica]

Menja peixets i invertebrats.[5]

Hàbitat[modifica]

És un peix marí, de clima tropical i demersal.[5]

Distribució geogràfica[modifica]

Es troba des del Pakistan, i al llarg de les costes de l'Índia i Sri Lanka, fins a la península de Malaca, Sumatra, Borneo i el Vietnam.[5][7][8][9][10][11][12][13][14][15][16][17][18][19][20][21][22]

Ús comercial[modifica]

És important com a aliment per als humans i es comercialitza fresc i en salaó (incloent-hi la bufeta natatòria) als mercats.[5]
