Descripció[modifica]

  • Fa 30 cm de llargària màxima.[3][4]

Hàbitat[modifica]

És un peix marí, associat als esculls de corall i de clima tropical (40°N-40°S) que viu entre 15-60 m de fondària.[3][5][6]

Distribució geogràfica[modifica]

Es troba des del Golf Pèrsic i l'Àfrica oriental fins a Nova Guinea i Austràlia Occidental.[3][7][8][9][10][11][12][13][14][15][16][17][18][19][20][21][22][23][24][25][26][27][28][29][30][31][32][33][34][35][36]
