Lampanyctus nobilis és una espècie de peix de la família dels mictòfids i de l'ordre dels mictofiformes.

Morfologia[modifica]

Reproducció[modifica]

És sexualment madur quan assoleix 11,2 cm de longitud.[5]

Alimentació[modifica]

És ovípar amb larves i ous planctònics.[6]

Depredadors[modifica]

A les Filipines és depredat per Lagenodelphis hosei i Stenella longirostris.[7]

Hàbitat[modifica]

És un peix marí i d'aigües profundes que viu entre 100-1.000 m de fondària.[3][8]

Distribució geogràfica[modifica]

Es troba a l'Atlàntic oriental (des de Mauritània fins a Angola),[9] l'Atlàntic occidental,[10] l'Índic (10°S-18°S), el Pacífic occidental (Japó,[11] Taiwan,[12][13] Austràlia[14][15][14] i Nova Zelanda[16]), el Pacífic oriental central[6] i el Mar de la Xina Meridional.[17][18][19][8][3][20]
