El bisbe (Trachyrincus scabrus) és una espècie de peix de la família dels macrúrids i de l'ordre dels gadiformes.

Morfologia[modifica]

Alimentació[modifica]

Menja copèpodes, misidacis, gambes, cefalòpodes, peixos, poliquets i gastròpodes.[4]

Depredadors[modifica]

A França és depredat per Dalatias licha.[5]

Hàbitat[modifica]

És un peix d'aigües profundes que viu entre 395-1700 m de fondària.[2][6]

Distribució geogràfica[modifica]

Es troba des d'Irlanda fins a Cap Verd,[7] incloent-hi la Mar Mediterrània.[8][9][10][11][12][13][14][15][2]

Longevitat[modifica]

Pot arribar a viure 11 anys.[16]

Interès econòmic[modifica]

És emprat per a fer farina de peix i oli.[4]
