John Joseph Nicholson (Nova York, 22 d'abril de 1937), més conegut com Jack Nicholson és un actor americà conegut per les seves freqüents interpretacions fosques de personatges neuròtics.

Nicholson ha estat nominat 12 cops a l'Oscar i n'ha guanyat tres. És, amb Walter Brennan, l'actor masculí amb més premis de l'Acadèmia, només superats per Katharine Hepburn amb quatre. Ell i Michael Caine són els únics actors que han estat nominats a un Oscar cada dècada des dels anys 60. També ha guanyat set Globus d'Or, un Kennedy Center Honor el 2001 i el Premi a la interpretació masculina (Festival de Cannes) el 1974 per The Last Detail de Hal Ashby.
